X-Series Timepieces

Bold yet restrained, with an attitude that is uniquely MINIMAL

Designs that inspire us most exist beyond trend, span decades, and live on for generations. These objects have been thoughtfully considered and get better with age. This is at the heart of the MINIMAL Design Shop and our new collection of everyday essentials, starting with the X-Series timepieces.

  • Crystal Clear

Machined from the inside to let the dial hands exist within the crystal’s volume, our unique atrium sapphire lens elevates traditional watch optics to a statement of craft, durability, and visual reduction.

  • Case by Case

Forged from stainless steel, the case is sculpted to reduce visual mass common with most automatic timepieces as well as increase on-wrist comfort and everyday wearability. Our black case is finished with a scratch-resistant PVD coating.

  • Start a Movement

The X-Series is kinetically powered by a precision Miyota 8215 automatic movement that never requires winding. A sapphire window on the back—each laser etched with unique serialization—highlights the movement and our custom engraved anniversary rotor.

  • Band Together

Our straps feature genuine leather from Chicago’s famous Horween leather tannery offering a quality and consistency that’s without parallel. Each X-Series Anniversary Edition watch also ships with an anti-dust, anti-dirt silicone strap that’s contoured for comfortable active wear.

  • Dialed In

Bold, confident graphics are stamped through the X-Series sandwich dial construction. The strong contrast between the face, indices, and numbering — set in Neue Haas Grotesk — make the face supremely legible without needing to shout.

  • Time Flies

To commemorate MNML’s tenth anniversary, the X-Series 001 is part of a limited release of 200 timepieces intended for our loyal friends, colleagues, and fans. A sapphire window on the back of each watch is laser-etched with a unique serial number to further express the exclusivity of the object.
